Liang Zhonghong opened a medical clinic in Foshan and created one of the earliest Chinese medicine wax pills in Foshan, i.e. Baolong Pill.
In 1659 A.D.
Fengliaoxing Herbal Medicine Shop, operated by Feng Liaoxing, cured the sick and served the people. Feng Liaoxing was known as the “King of Medicine in Foshan”.

Yuen Kut Lam Kam Wo Tea and Shaolin Dieda Zhitong Plaster were originally created.
The high-quality assets of Company were injected into “Rongshan International”, a company listed on the Main Board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and the Company was officially renamed as “Winteam Pharmaceutical” in the same year. The asset size and profitability of the listed company increased substantially.
The Company established the “centralized” management mode that integrates and optimizes the allocation of resources, so as to improve management efficiency, maximize the economic returns of the Company and lay a solid foundation for the rapid development of the Company.
The Company introduced Sinopharm Group as its strategic investor, starting to build a traditional Chinese medicine industry base worth 10 billion yuan and entering the fast lane of rapid development.
The capital of Sinopharm Group officially dominated Winteam Pharmaceutical Group, becoming a controlling shareholder. The Company became a forerunner of the mixed-ownership reform.
The Company acquired Guizhou Tongjitang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which achieved a strong alliance, laid a solid foundation for building the traditional Chinese medicine platform worth 10 billion yuan and also marked that the Company became a flagship company in the traditional Chinese medicine industry. November 2013 The Company was renamed as “China Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd.”, and its stock abbreviation was changed into “China TCM”, becoming the sole platform for Sinopharm Group to develop the TCM segment. The headquarters of the Company is located in Foshan.
The Company successfully acquired Jiangyin Tianjiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., formally entered the field of formula granules, and completed the largest merger in the industry so far in China, becoming a model for mergers and acquisitions in the industry and establishing the Company’s leading position in the traditional Chinese medicine industry.
Fengliaoxing Traditional Chinese Medical Center was officially in business, which marks the official launch of traditional Chinese medicine health complex strategy of the Company.
April 2016 The Company’s successful acquisition of Hua Yi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. indicates the official launch of asset integration in the traditional Chinese medicine segment of Sinopharm Group, in which China TCM has played a core role.
July 29, 2016 The Company was officially renamed as “China Traditional Chinese Medicine Holdings Co., Ltd.”.
September 2016 The Company successfully acquired Shanghai Tongjitang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guizhou Tongjitang Chinese Herbal Pieces Co., Ltd. and Guizhou Tongjitang Pharmacy Chain Co., Ltd., establishing the status of the Company as a leader in the traditional Chinese medicine industry with total assets of over 10 billion yuan.
In 2017, the Company formally acquired four companies, including Beijing Huamiao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Beijing Huatai Traditional Chinese Medicine New Technology Development Co., Ltd., Heilongjiang Chinese Medicinal Material Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Aconitum Carmichaeli Debx Technology Development Co., Ltd., with an aim to further improve the layout of the whole traditional Chinese medicine industry chain.
